The Sim for
Rehab

Why the simulator is the safest place to return from injury.

Returning to the course after back surgery, a wrist sprain, or tennis elbow can be terrifying. One chunked shot or awkward lie could set you back months. This is where the simulator becomes a medical device.

1. Control the Variables

On a course, you deal with uneven lies, rough, and mud. In the sim, you have a perfect, flat lie every time. This variable control allows you to test your body's structural integrity without risking a sudden jerk from a bad lie. Our private sim bays (available to Members) provide the perfect controlled environment for this work.

2. The "Wedge Ladder" Protocol

We use the sim to prescribe specific "yardage ladders" for rehab, a form of Graded Exposure Therapy. Instead of "hitting balls," you might be tasked with:

  • Level 1: 5 shots to exactly 30 yards.
  • Level 2: 5 shots to exactly 50 yards.
  • Level 3: 5 shots to exactly 70 yards.

This forces you to control effort levels. If you feel pain at 70 yards, we stop. You have a quantifiable metric for your recovery.

3. Objective Gait/Sway Analysis

Often, injury changes how we move subconsciously (guarding). Our cameras can spot if you are "hanging back" to protect a sore left knee, allowing us to correct the compensation pattern before it becomes permanent.

Don't guess when you are ready. Our Return-to-Play protocol bridges the gap between the physio table and the first tee.
