Golfer's Elbow Pain

The classic golf injury. Medial Epicondylitis isn't just annoying—it limits your power and ability to release the club.

What is Golfer's Elbow?

Medially Epicondylitis, or "Golfer's Elbow," is inflammation of the tendons on the inside of the elbow. These tendons control your wrist flexion and grip—two vital components of the golf swing.

It’s not just for golfers, but the specific mechanics of the golf swing make players highly susceptible.

Common Causes

"Casting" or Early Extension

Throwing the club from the top of the swing puts massive strain on the elbow to stop the clubhead.

The "Death Grip"

Holding the club too tight prevents the wrists from hinging naturally, transferring force to the elbow.

Improper Equipment

Heavy shafts or thin grips can increase the load on forearm muscles.

The Fix

You can't just treat the pain; you have to treat the swing fault causing it.

  • Treatment: Soft tissue release and isometric loading to heal the tendon.
  • Swing Change: We work to eliminate "casting" and improve your lag, which offloads the elbow.
  • Grip Adjustment: Often, a simple grip change (size or pressure) can provide instant relief.
